well i was going through my grandpa's tool box that we acquired after he passed and found a 7" wen sander/polisher. (link to a similar one below) it has a low and high speed on it. can i get some 7" pads and go to town on the cars????? oh and how do you use these

It should work fine, but since it says "no load" it makes you wonder how much it's going to bog when you put pressure on it.

all the above info is correct, i checked on the machine and it said 1600 max rpm though (model 943). this is all new to me, if i get 7" pads i am ok? do i need to get any special backing? thanks and sorry for my ignorance!
