found my swirl remover combo for the pc!

Just about started raining when I buffed EX+P off and the owner had to go somewhere so I'll do the interior next week (she is my next door neighbor).

nxt wash

rock hard clay - 2 hours of it the paint had so much s$$t on it.

(it was freezing this morning but 2 sweat pants and 4 sweaters helped)

ssr3 with my new orange pads from TOL on 6 (the polishing pad just didn't cut it)

ssr1 with white pad on 6

ex+p by hand

couldn't apply natty's due to the rain drops :(

This Maxima was full of swirls - worse horizontally but ssr3 with the orange pad got rid of all the swirls in one pass. I am not sure how hard nissan paint is and aware that white paint is hardest in general but I couldn't believe how effective this combo was! Saved me lots of time. I can't wait to use them on other cars now. Anyways, herte are some very cloudy photos.

thanks! I am not even sure if this was a paying job :D so I didn't do ssr3/2/1, but ssr1 sure cleaned up everything ssr3 left behind.

The car came out very wet and shiny. Too bad the resized pictures don't show everything.

thanks everyone - at one point I came home for a few minutes earlier tonight and the car was parked close to ""some light"" in the parking lot and I noticed that I left some swirls behind in the middle of the hood and some hazing as well. One reason why I don't like cloudy days. Even though I looked so hard!

Anyways, inspecting the rest of the car (as much as I could) looked good.

So I'll use ssr2 on the hood after getting rid of the remaining swirls.

wow man, your work is great. you have had lots of details recently and your work is top notch! keep it up! i am also trying to decide if i want 2.5 or 3. i have 2 and 1 and really like them so far. again, awesome work!

I just got home froma detail and saw that I have to redo the horizontal areas. So I am sorry if I misled anyone about gouing from ssr3 to ssr1.

I did take some pictures before leaving though. It was sunny

How would you compare the SSR3 to DACP? Does it break down faster? I hadn't had big problems with the DACP hazing/leaving anything behind. If there was anything, it wasn't anything AIO couldn't clean up.

I'm seriously hoping for a rotary for Christmas. I'm way too impacient to wait for the PC to break downa ggressive polishes.

yeah i would like to know if DACP compares better to 2.5 or 3.

with my limited experience, I'd say that DACP is like ssr2.5 although the ssr2.5 breaks down faster and more forgiving.

Honestly they are both very good products. ssr2.5 wins in my book due to being much more user friendly. (sun)
