Found a couple new uses for Bug Squash

I'm not sure if it was just me or what, but after washing my van today in 90+ heat I had found some water spots on my glass that weren't coming off with Spray and Wipe, so I grabbed the next bottle I saw and it was Bug Squash...
It was full strength and I thought I'd spray it on a mf glass towel and see what would happen if I rubbed a little...to my surprise the water spots came right out. After I went over all the spots, I went after something else that had been bothering me for the last year, but kept putting it off....the sticker residue from the temporary registration the dealer had put in my back window.
Since the rear defroster lines were there I didn't want to use anything that might make them peel off and kept saying I'd get to it, (yes I procrastinate on my own vehicles a lot, especially since it's the wife's van ;) ) ..I sprayed a little on the glass towel and rubbed a bit and it came off too, like it had never been there :) Just a few thoughts I figured I'd share...

Yep, BS (pardon the nickname :) ) is a very nice product. I have used it in the windshield washer reservoir, as a bug remover, as a pre-soak before a wash to remove junk (diluted, of course), etc. It is one of my favorite products, and one that I usually always try and recommend to friends, family, and strangers. It is one of the few products that I feel has no OTC rival - nothing even comes close.

My BS is in Hibernation until the winter months -but that is good info. to know! Thanks for the tips!

Before the bugs really started to come out (around March or so) I poured almost an entire 16 ounce bottle into the washer reservoir with some windshield washer fluid. I don't have an exact ratio because I had used some of the BS and the washer reservoir was not completely empty when I added the new fluid. I will say that when I had to do some traveling for my job, which required some long distance driving (coming home at night) and I could tell a difference in the "cutting" ability of the washer fluid. Maybe it was mental, maybe it wasn't, but BS is one of my favorite products. :D

I am new to this stuff. The first batch I mixed 3:1 and the 2nd I mixed 50'50
and it is a big difference. I used clay and this mix took off stuff the clay did not.

So you used the BS as a lubricating? Right!

No I think he meant he used clay to get bugs off, but it didn't work. Then he tried Bug Squash and that took the bugs/crap off the car.

This is correct. I also found a new use for BS. I had just polished my truck. I washed it today and could see a few places that there was still some polishing compound. I tried to wipe it off with a Mf with no luck. I tried PB's Spray and Wipe and could not get it. I tried the BS and it did the trick.

:yay :yay :yay :smile
