Formula 113 & BeadX

I have been buying the BeadX and formula 113 at car shows. I quit using the 113 and now use P21S because it has the best shine I have ever seen, but I still like the Beadx as a detailer. Anybody else have any experience with these products?

yep, there are a few of us on here that have used F113 and Beadx and pretty much everyone here has had some experience with P21S.

Personally, I am a big fan of Beadx, it works great on any sealant and/or wax from my findings. The wax is really good too, from what I recall. I believe it is supposed to be a hybrid, sealant and carnauba. The nice thing about it is that it doesn't stain trim or leave a lot of dust residue.

Do a search on those products, you will certainly find something.

I have tried both. The BeadX is a very good detail spray, if you can get past the weird smell. The F113 was very harsh and introduced all kinds of fine scratches on my clearcoated black - very visible in decent light. I wouldn't use it again.

I had no problems with 113-but I used a foam hand applicator instead of the terry cloth applicator they provide. Decent shine, but it doesn't last real long.

BeadX is an excellent QD. If Quickshine were to suddenly disappear, I'd probably use BeadX.

Ack!! BeadX...I threw that grape-smelling stuff into the dumpster. Something about the company/person behind that product made me sick... ;) Folks from the old, old, forum would know...

I have tried both products. The wax is not so good. It does fill swirls and perhaps with a P21S topper would last longer. Otherwise it lasts about a week.

The beadx is a very good detailer. I use it on my windows with a cotton towel. It cleans glass leaving it streakless.

Bought by the gallon it is economical.

Yeah, I remember that, BUT, also at that time I remember him handing out bottle after bottle of the stuff for free for us Autopians to try.....so I guess he was a generous pyscho! :D

Woah.... :hm With all these old-timer members posting I had to look about THREE times to make sure this wasn't just an archived thread brought back to life! ;)
