11% over here in Sask Can. Will be trying Diamond Body 36 next week. They do also have DB 360 a 10 year coating.

Be sure to use their panel prep. Their coatings can be have issues with other panel preps. Super easy coating to work with and a long flash time.

Good to know, but I Make my own prep solution. Much cheaper.

So 5-10 hours prep $70-100 in products and you wanna skimp out on $2-9 dollars. You can get kit with 100ml prep for $7more. I would add another 100ml for $7. =$9 more. I think 200ml is enough.
Even if you had to buy the 500ml I would splurge for panel prep as it’s not just ipa that’s in it. It’s the surfactants and polymers that add lube.
Think of it as wiping your car with water or a quick detailer after prep and polish. Which one has least chance of marring?

I put Diamond Quick Body on my car a few weeks back and while the application is quite nice the water behavior/beading is decent to average. It definitely doesn`t remotely compare to my other two go-to`s Overcoat or PA High Gloss.
However, it did look really good. A white car isn`t ideal for really comparing the looks of LSP but I felt it had a similar warmth to Overcoat but with the gloss of PA High Gloss.
For it`s current price in the 100ml size I think 22PLE`s VS1 Final Coat would be a better choice. A long term test on these forums from a few years back showed VS1 performing nearly identical to Overcoat at half the price.

No i strip off everything. I paint and do spot repairs. Spraying IPA on a panel and wiping it off, just moves contaminates around. Wet cloth and wiping dry with another is painting 101.

I have always enjoyed the marketing write up next I think we will see either self leveling/ no wipe off coating or absurd thickness claims or a 2 part coating that includes a hardener like clear coat.
Also think Optimum gloss coating still selling at 60-70$ for 10mls is hilarious and crazy
I think some of the stronger preforming coating right now are gyeon mohs evo, NV and fenylab light. I have not used fenylab just jumping to conclusions from YouTube but have used the other two. These are just my own thoughts.

Feynlab has clarified on where graphene technology stands as to coatings and where they apply where they benefit with the certain thickness. (Spoiler: it ain’t clear coat)
So any company that comes out with a graphene coating is an automatic “do not buy” category for me. I simply can’t take that brand seriously. Its just plain ol’ marketing

Yeah but just because graphene is added to market a product does not mean it is a bad product. Infact a lot of great products have graphene in them.
Agreed the graphene is not adding to the performance.
Same can be said about a lot of Sio2 sealants. The polymers and polysiloxane and what not are the performers. Sio2 just to add some pizzazz.

I get that and agree, but mixing some graphene powder doesn’t contribute to any benefit and the changes they do advertise are due to different formulations of ceramic base itself. Some coatings do actually have ceramic nanoparticles but agreed the word ceramic has become synonymous with anything that beads water. The problem is with dishonest marketing and as a professional I have to stand for my morals and principles.
I respect brands a lot more who don’t rely on trendy buzzwords to market their product and rely on their performance and let the market decide if it`s worth it. This is why I have massive love and respect for the brands like CarPro, Gyeon, Feynlab, Optimum and Gtechniq, some of whom have openly questioned the value of graphene and haven’t jumped on the trendy #MeToo train.

I imagine most makers of graphene coatings wouldn’t appreciate being paid with fake money even if they could probably pawn it off on the next guy. So let’s stop with the fake marketing.
