Ford Focus Cleaned Up

I volunteered to help my pal clean up his Ford Focus, which was bought from a smoker. A thourough cleaning has nearly eliminated the lingering smell. We still had some rain here in Southern California, but I was able to wash it and move to the garage before the rain began again.

I worked on the car while my friend got our new photo scanning website ready to launch:

www.picturespreserved.com

Feel free to check it out. (Shameless plug....is that allowed here?)

Anyway, this was the first time his car had been washed since he purchased it about 4 months ago. I wanted to take some before pictures, especially of the interior, but he was too embarresed. "You should be!" I told him.

Exterior:
PB Spray & Rinse on the Wheels
PB SS&S for the wash (Twice)
PB B&B on Tires (Sprayed on and left)

Interior:
Wolfgang Vinyl Protectant on Dash & Console
Prestone Carpet Cleaner on Mats and seats

The Prestone Carpet Cleaner works OK on pretty clean mats that have gotten a little dirt on them. However, I found that it did not do much for a few deep stains on the driver side. I have some OxyClean and will be trying the mixture with hot water I read about next time.

Not the best pictures, since I had to take them in the garage, but my friend was quite happy. He said, "I need to go sell this while it looks so good!" I told him to enjoy it and not let it get so bad!

Nice job! great flake pop on paint and wheels!

The plug might not be a good idea, its considered spam, you might want to remove it.
