how would i go about getting the wax off the plastic trim? i would perfer not to buy anything.

There is a couple threads for you to browse. I would reccomend the mr clean magic eraser. you can get 2 for under 2 bucks. Follow that up with a dressing and your good. Read up on the links for in depth info.
