That's easily one of the top 5 reflection shots I've seen on this site.:goodjob

can duragloss product be used by hand, or only with PC?

I think im gunna make a trip to my local carquest and pick up some products. Wondering what to get. I think i will get the car wash, 451 interior cleaner(or will a household product like "tuff stuff" work just as well?), AW, and maby 105 and 601?

Yeah, you can apply it by hand. Get whatever you can afford and prepare to go back for more!!!

I have a new Mercedes and it produces extensive brake dust. As of of now i have been using E1 wheel cleaner, but I will not be using it any longer in fear of acids destroying the finish, future use will just be MF with DG 901 and topping with PB Natty Blue. MB dealership recommends Wheel Wax, but after a search and rewiews and both PB and WW contains carnuba, which will not last due to extensive heat build up. I am considering using Collonite IW or the talk of the forum Duragloss.. But which DG should i use for the inside and outside of the wheel ? thinking 101 for durability.. thoughts on 101 or 105 or stay with the IW845 thanks in advance

i stopped at carquest today and picked up the starter bucket that contains 101 and samples of vinyl and 901. They didn't and wasn't aware of 105, so I picked up the 111 for my MB's clearcoat.. any difference between the 111 or 105 ? should i order the 105 ? stuff is confusing.. I could have easily bought out the whole line today.. total for starter bucket, 111 and 751 rain repel was 40 bucks.

and when i got home brown santa delivered my menzerna 106... going to florida for a family vacation. so my idea of a vacation is to detail...

105 is one of the best on white. IMO it's got more wow effect on white than many of the expensive boutique sealants. AW topper every few washes keeps up the bling.

I think both the 105 or the 845 will protect the wheels quite well.
It's funny you say that because I detailed my car about two weeks ago and my wheels had some water spots, other misc. stains so I attacked them with a 4" orange pad on my PC. I knew I needed to polish them so I used OP. I was then gonna put a nuba on it but figured it would probably evaporate pretty fast considering the temperatures the wheels reach due to the brakes so I decided to try something I hadn't heard about anyone trying on their wheels, 105. It worked beautifully and my wheels are just as clean today as they were two weeks ago when I first did it and I haven't touched them one time since then.

I just went out and took pics but can't upload them yet, my batteries died. I'll post them up asap.

i picked up a gallon of DG car wash concentrate #902. I was looking for 901, but 901 was only sold in smaller sizes. I looked at them and they looked the same, so i went for 902. Definatly was not dissapointed. Coming from someone who uses cheap, crappy shampoos usually, this was a LOT better. The wash mitt seemed to glide across my car so much better, and the cherry smell was definatly a nice touch.

Also picked up a bottle of aquawax. Super easy to use, and seemed to shine really well.

just wanted to chime in and share my experience also since using DG products.picked up a couple of bottles of FCS from the local carquest since it was sorta a last minute purchase and Ranney wasnt available at the time i wanted to buy it. finally got a chance to use it today since it was nice and sunny.

ONR washed and dried.first thing i noticed was that it smelled fruity and its consistancy is pretty thick to my eyes.considering that im not used to a qd being this thick, its not a bad thing. actually makes spreading the product rather easy. cleans well too. and this is over a week old coat of 105 over OPS.definately noticed a dramatic difference in wetness and slickness.for an original 18 y/o white paint job it made it pop, more so than when i first tried out the Klasse twins. so far this has got to be one of my favorite combos. cant wait to try out AW and layer a coat of 1000P and see how it looks afterwards.

now if this is supposed to be comparable to Z6 and the 105 is supposed to be comparable to Z2 then DG has got the better of me in terms of price and ease of use.

thanks guys for introducing such a fine OTC affordable product.
