WHAT IS THE BEST TIRE SHINE/DRESSING THAT GOES ON SUPER GLOSSY AND REMAINS THAT WAY FOR WEEKS? WHAT HOLDS A SUPERB GLOSSY GLOSSY SHINE FINISH,petroleum,SILICONE,WATER BASED?PROS AND CONS...?THANK YOU

i have used most of the otc stuff and dont like any of them and they all sling.

the best i have used is the zaino z16 its water based and it really dont sling at all but if it does it wipes right off instead of a silicon dressing that leaves those little spots that are hard to get off.

i just got a bottle of optimum opti bond but havent used it yet but i will tomorrow and give an update.

over the counter or pro stuff?

If you want something that will last you need to go silicone based. Water base is easy to clean off but does not last very long. If you want that super glossy wet look check into the Pro Care Care products. They have a tire dressing that is SUPER glossy if that's what you want.

Zaino is more of a matte finish.

You want something that will literally look good for weeks! Order some Tuf Shine and you won't be disappointed.

Ive used 3D Dressing with good results, last about 1.5wks by the second week its looking like it needs a retouch but thats about wash time again so no worries. never tried it diluted. Its Water based so if it rains it would probably not last much.

For me lasting over 2 weeks have usually been the Silicone/Oil based products, however they tend to attract alot of dirt and fuzz..and well I dont like that. Id rather re apply and not have to mess with the oily products unless I have too.

I have always been a fan of the Zaino tire dressing, does not sling stuff everywhere and does not make it look greasy shiny just clean and new looking

Stoner's Trim Shine all the way.

60.00 gets you 5 gallons shipped. Can be applied wet. Also can be diluted 1:1 for wheel wells.

I use a MF covered sponge to apply. Once primed, say one car's worth of tires, it only takes 3 sprays per tire. When done, I store it in a Tupperware container. This keeps it primed and ready. I can do 80-100 tires from one 32oz bottle.

Meguiars HyperDressing, if you use it full strength will probably last that long, weather dependant. I've had it last 2+ weeks @ 3:1 strength.

many people here have used many different tire products, some have even found the "perfect" one. i've found the ones i like. tuf shine or ultima on smooth sides walls and grape tire dressing on non smooth side wall for me. z-16 and dura gloss are also nice.

Zaino is really flat looking, no shine at all. It does make the tire look new, but not "black". I love Zaino waxes cleaners etc, used it for years now, but their tire dressing doesn't get my vote. Meguiars clear spay highgloss, can't remember exact name of it is what I usually use, but it does sling some mess around.
