Thanks for all the nice responses! UPDATE- it's been over a month and the area has held up well with no return of the stain. Also, I have not had any problems with dirt being attracted to the carpet with the use of Simple Green. However, it was very well rinsed out and extracted.

I bought a gallon of it a week, or so ago. It took out hard to remove stains, that have been in my SUV for two years. :bigups
