Folex is DA Bomb!

I do believe Folex has Butyl in it which is the reason it cleans so well..An old additive use for decades by carpet cleaners..Only drawback is those who do not like Butyl claim it has cancer causing agents...I was out of my standard wheel cleaner recently and decided to try Folex on my wheels..It melted the grime way..I found my new wheel cleaner

Well I'll be.......

I'm gonna have to get some of this today!

NO SMELL EITHER!!!

It works great for me also. I have used other products that also work well but their smell would linger for a week. Folex doesn't have a scent at all that I can smell.

Can this be used on an armrest? Its "leather" but I don't know if real or not. 2004 Maxima if anyone knows. There are spots on the center armrest and the door armrest from the owners' jacket and I couldn't get it out with any of my leather cleaners.

After reading about Folex on here I got some a couple months ago. I used it in our living room where there was a light stain that we suspect was soda pop that someone neglected to tell us about at a party. The stain had been there for a couple of years, and after some Resolve and a few steam cleanings had gotten pretty light where you only saw it during the day in good sunlight. Well that stupid Folex made me second guess my decision to use it because it made the stain worse. My only thought is that the Folex had drawn up the soda that had made it's way to the bottom of the carpet because it wasn't discoloring the carpet, but every time the paper towel I used would be light brown (I'm guessing Pepsi or Coke). Finally after about 8 applications the stain is pretty much gone.

I bet if you had used it first, it would have worked.

No, it did work, it just took a while to get there because it was actually drawing up the soda from the carpet. I also used it the other day on some red coolaid my two year old had dribbled on the carpet and it cleaned it up without a trace. :up

FOLEX is a great no-rinse clean up product. It can be used on many surfaces. FWIW, last time I was in HD they appeared to be closing the product out and had 1 qt bottles for under $5. I didn't buy any more as I already have quite a bit.

I'll mention one other comparable product which I finally see in my local stores (wally's mart): Paramount's Kid's 'n' Pets....also great for those organic cleanups!

I should mention that I find FOLEX in the carpet/flooring section of HD - - it's not in the janitorial section. I've also seen gallons of it at Lowe's, don't recall where in the store, though.
