foggy/spotted clear plastic gauge lenses

hi forum,
ive searched this forum but could not locate a thread pertaining to this.
Anyone know a product to use to get rid of foggy/spotted lenses on the dash panel gauges? I must have oversprayed some product, probaby a air freshner of some kind or some kinda cleaner, now i notice when the sun hits the dashboard just right, the normally clear plastic over the odometer and tach are spotted/foggy. Ive tried mild glass cleaner etc to no avail...There are certain plastic cleaners out there but ive never used any...any recommendations? I would like to make them clear again!! thankyou
 
I would check your local part stores and see if they carry Plexus plastic cleaner. That would be my first product that I went for. I have seen it clear up that kind of cloudiness that typcial glass cleaner wouldn't touch.

Typically it is armor all or some other dash protectant that clouds up the instrument panels on cars. They are definitely areas to be careful around. Many stereo faceplates get messed up this way too.
