It only uses a high concentration if you mix/adjust it that way. What I've found is that I wind up using a larger amount of wash solution than I did before, which I attribute to being more careful and the larger amount that gets used on the sides of the car (where with the foam gun you actually get product on there instead of what used to get sort of splashed on there from the mitt).
