Foam guns are waaaaay too much fun!

Since it appears that this Autobrite foam lance with the Karcher attachment is only sold in the UK, how the heck do we get it here to the states?

Can I find those brass Karcher adapters locally?

What can I do to make this fit my Karcher?

The easiest way to get it to fit your Karcher is to buy a new pressure gun. Make sure it has the female end on it. Lowes has a pretty good stock of pressure guns, as does Sears. Home Depot doesn't have much, at least the ones by me.

Some small engine tool specialty shops also stock them.

Funny you should say that because I was just thinking about whether or not I could get a new gun that would allow the lance to fit. :)

Cool, I'll see if I can find one with a female end on it locally.

Thanks!

I promised her I wouldn't ever buy any waxes/sealants again.

Man, you know better than that!!

I think it has to do with the post-birth hormones... I could ask her for a new car right now and she'd say yes. :) It's kinda like she has post partum depression in reverse.

Ooh, I hope my wife does that! She's due in three weeks!

I think I'm wanting a foamgun for my daily driver that sits outside 24/7. Pollen season lasts a long time here.

Great post, loved reading through it. After this, for all of us without pressure washers, I guess there is no way we can get results like these with the Gilmour, right?

Dumb Question here... :nervous:

So Lowes (etc.) carries a new gun that attaches to my stock Karcher (gas) washer that I could pop the foam gun onto with no modification?

That is correct, they sure do. It runs about 35 bucks, I believe.

What exactly am I looking for? At $35.00 on top of the cost of the new gun it may be simpler for me to see about importing a foam lance!

:o

Not to be general or repetitive but basic calculation is:

1000 - 1500 Pressure Washer (Preferrably Gas for reliability) + Cam Spray Foam Gun $80 + New Local Spray Gun w/ Female End = Heavy Foam?

Electric PW seem to break easily, so I guess it's +200 for the Gas powered ones.

Seems like you use alot less water & soap solution for every vehicle.

Yay for DP Xtreme Foam soap. I just tried it for the first time in my foam gun. Awesome stuff. Way more foam than regular car wash soap. And it clings to the cars surface longer.

Foam Gun cut my wash time in less than half. I've used Meguiar's Gold Class and Zaino's Z7 - Both produce rich slippery foam.

Now THAT'S FOAM!!!:wow:

I'm gonna have to look into this attachment!

That's some twisted amount of foam and the thickness is just insane!!

Thanks for the info and taking the time to post the video!!!:2thumbs:

Regards,

Deanski

To echo everyone else's statements, WOW! That indeed is some foam, if only we didn't have insanely sanctioned water restrictions, I would buy a foam gun.

SuperBee- Just a small side bar, not sure if your aware, but you family album is visable for public.

Is there a place to buy one of these OTC? I'm so excited about getting one of these that I'd rather not wait for shipping.

Actually I just noticed this company is in Boston . . . never mind!!!

'Thanks for the review and vids!\r\n\r\nI received my foam cannon recently and couldn\'t wait to try it on my little electric Karcher. I was concerned it wouldn\'t produce the thick foam like your 3000PSi 2.8gpm system. My Karcher is 1750PSI / 1.5 gpm - So far I\'m having fun trying different solutions and just plain getting kicks out of this new detail toy! \r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nI put a few vids up to test solutions.\r\n\r\nFOAM CANNON TEST DEMO VIDEOS'
