Most cooling problems occur in traffic at low speeds. If you take off the shroud make sure you donâ€â„¢t hack it up and hang onto it for a while. That way if you run into cooling problems you can replace it if needed.

Thanks for all the comments

jchetty,

I finally found Hyper dressing and the others Megs stuff on the web site. It took some searching, not the most user

freindly site, but just so they keep making good stuff.

The cost isn't a factor if I end up liking it, but it's a bit much to spend just to test. So if I may ask, do you think it will help to seal my painted engine block?

I'm still thinking that the Wurth Protective Wax which is rated to 180deg might be a better bet. Would it be best to ask questions that are more specific on the Megs forum site?

Also want is the difference between Hyper, silicone free and the all season preps? I guess the silicone free would be for body shops.

being that ur engine block paint can handle the hot engine, i dont think sealing will do to much....this is where you want to be careful imo with products....certain degreaser will chew up that paint so try to use something thats not harsh or corrosive, and choose your brushes carefully. you do that and you should be ok...i would def spray on some hyper dressing or other dressing on the painter motor:up check this link other site...useful info but not as detail as autopia :up...i clean my motor once a month which i think is more than is needed..once you get a program a motor take a little as 10 minutes.....the motor doesnt get very dirty, just think if you went and never washed your car for 3 years even with rain, your paint would be horrible...most motors are never rinsed in 3 years let alone detailed:sosad

Or in my case, detail the engine for the first time after it already has 140,000 miles on it. :)
