Foam gun

No links permitted here. But, if you're using the Gilmour Gun with letter settings, CG suggests the following.

To get the Chemical Guys recommended 1:512 mix ratio, put 2 oz of Citrus Wash +Gloss in the Foamaster II?s bottle and fill the bottle half full with water. Set the dial to B, and you are good to go.

Some guys like to waste product just to see mounds of suds, but that's overkill.

I consider my foam gun as a tool used to dissolve crud and grime, not a toy to just shoot and waste product.

i prefer my foam cannon and only use my foam gun when i don't want to disturb the neighbors...like on a sunday, but i seldom allow my cars to get that dirty if i can help it...

I get tried of going to carwashes and the foam brush is out of order or someone just cut the hose. I would like to buy my own foam gun and would like to know if anyone had suggestions. I have a surburban and tundra crew-max. I dont detail professionally and I dont know what is available in the market or which would be easier to use.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you! :notworthy:

if you have a pressure washer the foam cannon is the way to go... if not a foam gun would be sufficient which pac sells on their site.. keep in these tools do not, i repeat do not replace hand washing, these are just presoakers to loosen dirt and grime and help prevent you from scatching your finish when you hand wash.

Thanks glfahlc and Mr. Gloss! All the info helps. Just gets frustraing when you want to soak and the one at car wash is broke.~X(
