Well Last week i put the ml in lockdown for five days. Detailed inside and out.

vinylex tires

The smr worked pretty darn Well. It left a little hazing on the hood but was unnoticable after aio, and especially sg. I applied the aio with the white pad and it went on and came off very easily. SG...another story. It was really hard to get off. I applied what I thought was an extremely thin layer, but I ended up using a damp microfiber for removal. Without the damp microfiber I kept marring the paint from pressing so hard. The car looks incredible, sort of glows. Super slick too. On a black car, how much of the product should I see(sg)?

Hazing, where should I go after smr next time. I hear people are getting hazing with ppcl. What would be a good step finer from smr. I ordered some souveran so after adequate sg layers I will top.

Like all of the products but what do you guys think is the best smelling(leather smell)/working leather conditoner cost not being a factor.

I am extremely happy with the results and will post a pick after next wash!

I followed CMA's suggestion to apply the SG with a microfiber pad moistened with Eagle One Wipe & Shine. I have not experienced ANY of the hazing/ difficult removal mentioned in any of the SG threads, and I remove the SG with a dry microfiber towel.

I highly recommend it, have used it on 4 cars with 2 to 3 SG coats on each - no problem with removal.

I had similar issues with SG, I had trouble taking SG off....but again, it was probably me not doing it correctly......its really important to do it correctly technique..technique....technique...

I goy my pinnacle souveran today. I tried a little bit on a area of the car and was very happy with the results! I have two SG layers on right now, is it worth it to keep layering sg and then top, or should I go straight to the topper?

Its a grill for a 00-01 ml55 and now the 02 ml500. Its a factory piece I just swapped. 10 screws I believe. I think it adds a nice touch and lessens the whole dinner plate serving of three pointed star.

I did a HUGE amount of Klasse testing - tried multiple application and removal tchniques suggested by board members. Tried both orbital and hand.

My personal preference:

Application with foam pad moistened with QD - I used Meguiars' final inspection. Application by orbital works well, doesn't use too much SG, does a good job of evenly and thinly applying the product - but it can be done by hand.

Removal: Use two microfiber wipes. Soak one under the faucet and then wring as much water out of it as you can. This will take the SG residue right off, leaving a tiny bit of water streaking behind. Follow up with the dry MF - voila.

Search the product reviews section for "Carguy Tries Klasse" , "SG Layer #2 - still not entirely" and "SG Layer #3 - things are looking up" for all of the discussion that went along with this.

Nice pics BJWebster. As for the Klasse being difficult to buff out, I've never had problems with it. I'm also a big fan of using foam pads. This allows me to use real thin coats of Klasse SG. Laters

I just got a foam gun and not sure how much i should fill up the bottle with soap. I have a 2011 mustang. Any tips on how much soap to use would be nice.

might depend on what type of soap you're using. i use mine with maybe 4oz of eimann
fabrik gentle shampoo. that stuff foams up nicely and is plently for my ford f150 pick up.

I rarely find a need for a foam gun, but when I do use one, I use CG Clear at the recommended rate on the label.

Of course it depends on what product you're using.

I usually fill mine up about 1/2 to 3/4 full of water and then add my favorite car wash soap until it comes to the top. It covers my Shelby just fine.

What kind of foam gun did you get? If it has an adjustable metering, tecnhically it should be adjusted based upon the meter (what is pulled from bottle for each gallon of water pulled through the hose) setting.
