Foam Gun Users: Feedback Requested

Have read in other threads that a dilution of shampoo has been used. In my application of shampoo thru the foam gun I do not use a mix I use strait shampoo. I get a lot of foam which provides great cleaning and lubricity. I am not interested in dilution. The foam gun does that for me

This is the kind of info i am looking for.

Thanks,
Richard

Hey, your welcome!!

I have always said that I would rather be lucky than good. Actually I cannot even take credit for being lucky. Was talking with Steve from Poorboy's and he was the one that actually gave me the advice. Made sense to me at the time. Still does as far as I am concerned.

OK, OK, you guys have convinced me! Guess it is time for me to order a foam gun. I have been considering it for some time now, but I have been swayed by all the very good info and comments I found here. I wonder if my wife will buy the excuse "those guys at Detail City made me do it?"
Thanks guys for all the great info on this site!! I have gained a wealth of knowledge from the posters here.

S-O-L-D.

I've heard the foam gun hype for months, and ignored it.

Dam* me for being wrong again!

A BIG Thanks to Poorboys Steve and Bill D. for showing me the light (again).

Guys, if you have dark paint, this is a good piece to have in the tool box.

I spent 2 1/2 hours washing our Black Tahoe on Tuesday (and picked up a few spots of light marring). Tonight I used the foam gun and completed the wash in 1 1/2 hours and didn't see any additional marring under the lights. Slick, Slick, Slick.... you can really feel a barrier between the paint/foam/wash mitt.

I tried (3) solutions tonight:

- 2oz SS&S / 2 oz BS
-2 oz SS&S / 1 oz BS / 3 oz White Vinegar
-My neighbor used 2 1/2 oz of CG's extreme body wash on his wife's van. Suds City!!

All 3 combo's did a good job. #2 is the combo I'm going to stick with (and tweak).

Each mix goes a looooooong way in the foam gun, so don't worry about using more product.

I'll post up a review over the weekend (it's getting late).

Bill, The foam gun is a beast! No regrets at all!

I went to Home Depot and Lowes over the weekend to upgrade my quick disconnects & to pick up a shut off valve.

Lowes carries a TON of Gilmour products. I purchased 2 shut off valves & a few quick disconnects and bingo -we're in business!

The foam gun is the best thing since DVD & surround sound (LOL)!

-I really like it a lot!
