Foam Gun Users: Attachments

I recently purchased a foam gun and wanted to upgrade my quick disconnect system.

Our local Lowe's (Delaware) carries a TON of accessories from Gilmour -the maker of the 'popular' foam gun.

Lowe's carries shut off valves, 2-way, 4-way, quick disconnects with built-in shut off valves (for really quick swaps), fireman hose nozzles, etc... -a very nice selection.

That said, I wanted to share this info. with the crowd.

I no longer use my spray nozzle with my foam gun. I unscrewed the disconnect off of the nozzle and ditched the nozzle. The center piece in the pictures represents that disconnect. It has a huge hole so no water restriction.

I attach it to my Dramm shutoff valve on the right in the pictures. The Dramm has the best water flow and quality of construction out of any one I have seen.

The foam gun is on the left in the pictures. It connects to the disconnect (in the center that used to be on the nozzle) which connects to the shutoff valve (on the right) which screws on the hose.

As you can see the spray nozzle is gone. MUCH easier to control, less fatigue on your hand and superb water flow.

Just pop off the foam gun and pop on your other instrument like a regular nozzle that has a male connector screwed on it.

Maybe the mods will combine our posts. Sorry about that. We posted at about the same time tonight (not on purpose). LOL.
