FMINUS Detailed: 2009 BMW 135i Jet Black

This is a new car with less than 3k on the odo. Even being new, there were plenty of VERY deep swirling and RIDS. It was also ridden with waterspots.

Cosmoline and other contaminates were also plenty on the paint.

After removing the clear bra per owners request, I went to work. I removed the majority of the swirls and RIDS, but the surface definitely wasnt perfect. However, I did not want to remove too much clear as the car is an 09, and also Jetblack. The owner decided to correct the clear perpetually as opposed to taking too much off all at once.

very nice job. always curious on these great details on the total time it took to finish? guessing 10+ hours?

i think noobs can't appreciate the process just looking at the finished product and would give them an idea that a great detailing job isn't just washing and waxing. polishing, cleaning and the grand finale require time, effort, attention to detail, time, time, time etc...

Looks great! I absolutely hate doing Jet Black, it always turns into some kind of ordeal. You plan on a 1 or 2-Step polish and always end up adding at least another step because it's so damn finicky!

Excellent work, keep em coming!

Always great to go over your threads here and over at 1addicts FMINUS.. Do you know of any detailers workshops here in SoCal or anything like that? hell i wouldn't mind driving over to chino to just watch you work for pointers. Im still in shanghai now but ill be back end of may and I'd like to learn how to properly work with my flex.. my 1er needs some paint correction and ive had trouble working on it. your 335i correction is impressive man. keep up the good work

Holy chit! That is AWSOME work:bow. The reflections on the hood,in the garage, are fricken ridiculous. How long would a shine like that last if this guy cleans it the right way?
