Yes, but it depends how soiled the mats are. If they're soiled enough (like what I see everyday), it's faster to degrease and pressure wash them.
If you power wash them and squeegee them out, if you hang them by the edge so they are hanging vertically, 90% of the water runs down to the bottom and drips out of them. Then when you are going to be putting them back in the car, you just need to vacuum the water out of the bottom inch of each mat. They will be almost completely dry by then.
Personally, i love the lines. It makes the interior look steamlined and finished. To each his own i guess though...
