Flex vs PC (table)

Hello,

I wanted to see a power comparison between the Flex and the PC and never found a table, so I made one and I want to share it with you:

To run the Flex @6000 OPM (the maximum in the PC), you have to select the position "3.5" and with the Flex you have an extra, around 300 rpm.

Best regards from Spain. :up

That is a terrific table . I live in Chile and I have been looking to buy a flex in 220 volts . Do you know where I can get one ???

It can be ship to my Chile Office or the Miami Office.

Thanks ,

Jean Paul

The RPM of 480 isn't much. Most rotaries start at 1000rpm. Most of the corrective ability is coming from the OPM.

Yes, I agree mate. My Metabo starts @700 rpm. But is enough rpm to warm up the paint if you operate the Flex @6 with a long working time polish in a small section. This heat aids in the process IMHO.

+1 all you need to do to get a one pass or 2 pass great finish is to use the flex at speed 5 or 6 and go faster the a pc but slower then a rotary.Use 2x2 areas and the paint heats up just fine and you can get a lot of correction in just 1 pass with the flex.
