FK425 and heat?

If you are a professional detailer, it's nice to offer different products to your customers. If however, you are not (Like me), ime/imo it's overkill. I now use what I have till gone, then I'll consider another product.
 
I'm not a professional detailer. I just like using "A LOT" of different products on my vehicles. I have more than enough products to start a business though. Like you said it's overkill. :lol



Seriously though the next major purchase for me will be a flex.

Lucky for me my wife doesn't have the time to go shopping. She's a dentist and works all the time. I guess I'm the one who has the hobby. :chuckle:

I wish I could do that. I don't think I've ever finished any product before its gone bad because I keep buying new ones to try. In fact I just ordered 3 LSPs this week, and had just tried out 3 new ones about 3 weeks ago too.
 
bcwang, did you buy the Fusion the other day? I ended up buying it, received it today, but doubt I'll get a chance to use it for several days.
 
Yes, and also dgps 3.0. And also more stuff in a second order when I decided I want to try more stuff. It'll be at least next weekend until I try any of it since none of it will be here this week.

I've done a lot of searching about QD's tonight. Many like OID (which I have a gallon of) and many like FK425. I'm wondering if it's worth spending the money to try FK425?



I also have a half a gallon, to a gallon of these products Z-6, Z-8, Fast Clean and Shine, and AW.



Is FK425 going to give me a look that these others mentioned above won't, or will I even be able to tell a difference? I'm looking to apply Wolfgang Fuzion tomorrow if the weather allows. LOL



I'm also going to try Pinnacle Souveran once again on another car with a QD over the top to hopefully cut down on pollen/dust.



So what's your suggestion? What should I use over Fuzion and Souveran? Products I have, or should I spend the money on FK425.



I had a gallon of 425 in the cart and typed in my CC number before I decided to stop, and ask my question over here before I ordered the product. :chuckle:

No, FK425 will not give you better results than Z6,Z8, FC&S or AW. It's a great QD, but no better than what was mentioned. Use up the products you have and then try FK425. Z8 and AW is not a QD FWIW.

Yeah, I know Z8 and AW are not QD's. I guess I was just throwing out what type of products I had already.

After looking this morning I have a little less than half a gallon of Z-6, and Z8, and a whole gallon of FC&S, and AW. I bought these from DG.



I bought two bottles each of Z-6 and Z-8 and then cut a bottle of Z-6, and Z-8 down with a 1-1 ratio, to see what effects if any it would have. IMO both performed like normal.
 
Two bottles of Z6 or Z8 cut 1-1 only makes 64ozs. if my math is correct, not 128ozs. unless you combined Z6 and Z8 together.
 
QD's in trunks due get warm as hell, buut can be minimized by putting them in one of those insulated can covers used to keep soft drinks/beer cool. I use a few to cover it fully and to keep it from leaking in case it gets loose and knocked around. One around the bottom and one on top of the sprayer. You may have to add a bit more foam to keep it from slipping off due to size difference of the bottle.



I also use these small plastic bottles that have perfume spray-pump heads that mist a QD so very lightly. It's a fine mist when it comes out and this keeps from getting those big drops between trigger pulls on normal spray heads.



Since it's so fine, the finish HAS to be cool or it flashes in a second, then you have more of a mess.



As long as you have something with you for those quick touch-ups for whatever reason, it's the best thing to have on hand.

You'll be using your 425 on your TV, laptop, electronics, fridge, on some furniture - and of course, on/in your car...

That's why I said less than half a gallon, after going back and looking. :chuckle:

I bought gallon jugs of FC&S and AW from DG.
