FK1000p vs _ test

Would love to see FK1000p against Griot`s Polywax since there hasn`t been any testing done on the Polywax that I know of. Polywax is supposed to be designed to compete with the most durable LSPs out there so would like to see if it performs as well as FK1000p for durability, self cleaning and protection from bird bomb/insect etching. While the FK is fantastic stuff it`s a PIA to apply compared to a liquid like Polywax, IMO.

There`re so many variables that contribute to the !YMMV! aspect of LSP comparisons...

My FK1000P outlasted and outprotected Collinite 476S (and *really* outperformed 845) so greatly that I`ve basically retired my Collinite. I don`t even use 476S on the `93 Audi any more.

BSkip333- My BF AFPP (pre-"BW" on the label if that makes any diff) didn`t even come close to lasting like FK1000P does, but did give a quite different/?better on some paints? look. The BF did a lot of "darkening" and looked quite "wax-like" to me, whereas the FK1000P gives the bright/sealanty look.

I also would like to see JetSeal in there. If you would give me your address I would send you a few ounces of it. It has been my go to for a few years until recently when I have basicly switched to coatings with the least I would do is Essence and reload but most will be WG Uber coating. I have used JetSeal twice a year on my wagon and as far as I could tell it has held up really well.

bit off topic. But is there a shelf life on the FK1000? I have a tin that is over 10 years old.

I have a tin that`s at least 8 years old and is still working great as my winter wax/sealant. A little really does go a long way.
