I finally got my first major detailing session of the year in last weekend.

The pics were taken at a friend's place. I promised him I'd help him do his Prelude (in the background of one of the pics) once we find some NXT.

I did:

wash and dry (Mother's CA Gold)

clay (Meg's Quik Clay + Mother's Showtime QD)

Klasse AIO

Klasse SG

I'm very happy with the results. Paint feels soooooo smooth :D . I did run into some difficulty removing the SG, but it's my first time, and it's only gonna get easier from here. I plan to do two more coats of SG with a week in between each coat, and then top it all off with a coat or two of S100. Can't wait to finish it up :) .

A big thank you has to go out to everybody on this site, from whom I've learned a lot from these past few months.

Nice work. I've got an Accord that looks just like that minus the spoiler. Its a fun color to play with. Its not quite dark but not quite light. I've found that I can get a much more wet look on that color than I can on any other 'light' color.

:lol It even took a little while on cable modem.:shocked

Yeah, I am over at my parent's house on their computer and they have broadband and the first two pics load about halfway and stop so I think it may be a server issue.

Fish-resize the pics and upload them to the Autopia gallery, I'd really like to see them.

My apologies for the large file size. I'll resize them on my server so they download faster. My server's down at the moment though.

Just upload them to the autopia gallery. You get 3 MB space as a member.

I did both. My gallery link

Jngrbrdman: It is a nice color to work on, and it does feel really nice to get it this clean. There were times when I wished I got a darker colored car, but not after having discovered Klasse.

Thanks for looking, guys!

It goes to show that a little TLC plus a few contemporary products can yield a really nice look.

Enjoy.
