First time using QEW Results (pics inside)

So you would have to rinse yourself if you wanted to sponge bath with it?:o

I don't dump out the QEW bucket until I am finished dressing the tires, then I use it to wash my hands. No rinsing, just grab a clean cloth and dry.

I just ordered some QEW last night. I took the car to the touchless and got it home planning to do my normal spraydown with S&W. The touchless coupled with the collinite dd a fine job of helping slide the crap off everywhere above the beltline. Below the beltline however was still salt residu-ey. I was quite uncomfortable using the S&W in this situation (didnt scratch though) and used more than usually do, and that stuff is expensive so i figured QEW instead of the touchless if its not real bad, and after the touchless if its bad was the ticket.

Ordered from Camping World.

If I could only keep one thing in my entire arsenal it would be QEW absolutely indespensible if you live in an apartment. Been using it for over year on black.

I have discovered QEW and it is a great product - far preferable to a car wash, IMO. I mix up one capful in a 32 oz. spray bottle and spray down each body panel first to loosen the dirt. Then, using a black sheepskin mitt, I just drag the mitt across the surface using no pressure to remove the dirt. Then I turn the mitt over to the clean side to wipe the surface clean. Dry with a Big Blue and the car is clean with a minimum of problems. A light application of Poorboys Spray and Wipe completes the procedure. Yes, I too prefer a hose with my filter attached too, but if it comes down to a carwash or QEW, the QEW wins every time. At least I can control the procedure. The pre-spray technique also helps alot - prevents "driwashing".

I mixed QEW with alittle quickshine in a spray bottle and it works great for a car that is alittle more then dusty but not dirty enough for washing. I spray on, let it sit for a bit, then wipe with a MF terry towel. Buffed dry with another. it worked great. I just got a bunch of products so look for pics and reviews soon :D

One point of interest some of you may want to take note of...

I was all prepared to order QEW from Campingworld.com. I need the stuff like last week. So I was calling around to local RV places, and although one guy didn't stock it he told me "camping world in Brunswick probably has it". I was surprised to find out that there are lots of campingworld retail outlets across the country, it's not just mail order. So go to www.campingworld.com

and click on "STORES" to see if theres one near you before you order. I made the 40 minute drive happily before having to order, pay for shipping, and wait around. :up
