Detailed the wifes little Honda today. This car is used for commuting and is almost 20 years old and although the paint is pretty well worn i did manage to get some good results. I am to tired to take pictures now sorry. I would however like to comment on the DP Pad Rejuvenator. I have struggled with pad cleaning for a good 4 years never really being able to get the pads as clean as i would like using Dawn. Well i have also been one to doubt these so called cleaners that all the Sponsors sell. Well boy am i kicking myself in the ass for not breaking down and buying this stuff sooner. O my god this stuff is awesome and it cleans the pads so well and with such little effort.

Good info.I also wondered about the pad rejuvenator. How many times can a packet be used to clean a set of pads,is it economical?

I purchased the jar of it and it says the stuff can stay in the bucket of water and be used for up to a week. The jar comes with a plastic scoop and one scoop is needed for a 2-1/2 gallons of water in a bucket and it say it gives you 16 buckets worth.

I'm gonna give a try on my next order. thanks

Joe you could probably get away with only using half a scoop with 1 gallon of water which would then give 32 applications of it. Which is what i will probably ttry next time

Thanks for the review.

How many pads did you clean?
What type and brand of pads did you clean?
How soiled were the pads before cleaning?
Did the rejuvenator remove older soiling or stains from the pads?

TIA

Well it is funny you ask this. The pads were LC 6.5 Flat pads and there was a Orange, 2 Whites, and a Black. The orange pads was lightly soiled and came clean very easy pretty much no soak time and minimal dunking and massaging. The whites were pretty filthy and one was extremely dirty do to using it on some black door trim that was severly oxidized. I let the white soak for about an hour and they look almost new after rinsing. The black pad had a decent amount of wax in it and after a hour of soaking i brought it into the house to rinse and there was still a good amount of wax down deep when i pressed the pad hard enough. I decided to throw it back in and left it overnight. So i get the black one out this morning and squeeze it hard and no more wax so it abviously broke it down and dispersed it overnight. So it dawns on me i have some older pads both LC a yellow and white both with the center pocket and they are absolutely filthy to say the least. So i decide to throw them in and see what happens. Well that was about 3 hours ago and they have begun to come clean but i forgot to take before pictures of them. I will take some after pictures though and post them up when donw. The first bacth of pads were fresh since i had just completed the detail on this.

Ok so I let the two old pads soak most of the day. The two pads as stated above older version of the LC 6" pads one yellow and one white. Now these pads where extremely dirty and dark over the entire surface and you can still see the rings in certain areas that are still dark. These dark rings are actually clean compared to how they were. I am extremely impressed with how clean these two older pads got. I have previously cleaned these pads with DAWN and SG both and neither ever worked worth a crap. Sorry for the sucky picture i hit thew qwrong button when trying to make the picture themsleves not so dark I did not have enough light and my flash was not on.

Thanx for all the comments guys. This is not something I know about, so I like to learn. Still using dish soap, but the next order......

I've been using the DP pad rejuvinator as well. I've never used anything else so I didn't realize that other cleaning methods didn't work as well. However, I have been very satisfied with the cleaning power of the DP Pad Rejuvinator.

97F1504x4,
Thank you for answering my questions. Do not worry about the pictures, the pictures show how the rejuvenator works. I have been thinking about ordering some and I will add the rejuvenator to my next Autogeek order. I have been using dawn, SG or murphy's oil and I am concerned that some residue of these product are left in the pad and then transfered to the paint, even after a through rinsing.
