I bought a cyclo last week and went by a local body shop for a practice panel to use it on. The panel was in pretty bad shape, so I decided that this would be a good panel to practice on with my new cyclo polisher. Below are pics of the hood before and after cyclo. Let me know what you think.

My steps were as follows:
1. Cyclo yellow pad with extreme power cut leveler.
2. Cyclo orange pad with meguiars #9
3. Cyclo green pad with meguiars #7
4. Cyclo white pad with meguiars #26

I have'nt used the cyclo, but I heard and seen they do good work. I like my poter it does the job for me. I think the cyclo would be hard to blance and to use on car's that have alot of indentions or curves. Hey your hood came out great, If you get good results stick with it,Good Luck

Not at all. Once you use it, it almost seems to balance itself in your hands. It is a little tight in some places, but you can get a 4" pad setup for the PC and hit the tight spots. I like my PC as well, and it's been a workhorse, but the Cyclo really does fill a gap between it and a rotary.

I'll second that. I took my Cyclo right out of the box and went to work, no fears of losing control or anything like that. It's always a smart thing to be cautious, even overly cautious, though. Save that panel for if you take the rotary plunge, then it will really come in handy.
