Nizmo, don`t know where you are, but in South Central PA, it was 71 degrees when I arrived at work at 2. By 5:30 it was 35 degrees and sleeting. To quote a friend: "Mother Nature is stoned."

Hah, South Central here as well, McConnellsburg to be exact. I was grilling burgers with my heavy jacket on and the sleet was coming down.
This morning went to take the dog out and it was sleeting and a few flurries flying around, along with strong winds. Of course it was the morning the dog decided to take his time....
While inavoidable, I wish there was sort of magical spray that one could treat the car prior to a snowfall.
I hate take the car out to X, park for X hrs, come back to it needing to remove X inches...
Granted windows are a must.
I removed snow and leave a inch around.
But the unavoidable snow induced marring is bound to happen
