after reading up on here for about 3 weeks .. i purchased a PC and my products .. ( otimum compound/polish ) and vallia moose ... this was the first time i ever picked up the machine or used the products actually first time ever really deatailing other than wash and wax .... i decided to try on a test car, my winter( ( 98 neon never taken care of) beater before i move on to my pride and joy

Welcome to DC Mike. Looks like you have already learned a few things. Nice pics. Look forward to seeing more in the future.
 
Also what was your process and which pads and products did you use? You done a great job on those swirl marks!

optimum compound x2 orange cutting pad
optimum polish x2 white polish pad
vanilla moose x2 black finnishing pad
 
Got the hood from Rex Orr. Cannot remember his website. Ordered the front cover off of ebay. Drove from Tex. to Ark. to get the rear bumper cover and side skirts. Met up with a few from the Ark. club up there.
