First post..need advice

The results look fantastic! How many hours did it take you to do that? And how many passes did you make with the compound and how many with the polish?

In another thread, a poster mentioned that PB SSR polishes left marring in the paint and another poster replied that that SSR polishes can be difficult to use if you are not experienced with polishes. Have any of you noticed this? Would PB's SSR polishes be better to use by a newbie (like me) once they get a little more experience?

Honestly I wouldnt even use any SSR's. I used them with decent results when I first got started but there is so much out there now. They dust like hell too. Honestly with all the polishes out there I dont think there is a need for the SSR's anymore. Personally, Im a HUGE Menzerna fan, user friendly and the results are sick. Optimum also makes some decent stuff.

I think you will have better results and a more enjoyable experience if you used the Menzerna or Optimum polishes. SSR just dusts WAAAY to much and it makes it a pain in the a$$ to compound a car. Anyways , I'm ranting. Im sure someone else will chime in.

Well since im a noob at this it took me a whole day.. 2-3 passes with OP compound and 1-2 with OP polish. I can now understand why people get addicted, especially when you start off with a paint in bad condition and can really see the results..very rewarding.
