First Post! I've been looking at these forums for almost a year now but I've never posted anything before now.

This is a BMW M5 that I detailed this past summer. I didn't really think to take any before pictures, but the car was in decent shape. It was garage kept, but hadn't been washed in over three months, so there was a lot of gunk and brake dust.

I spent quite a while on it...can't remember exactly what I used but it was mostly CG stuff. No buffing on this car, just MF and a lot of elbow grease.

Lemme know what you think.

Thanks! I love the M5. I actually got to drive this one because I picked it up and dropped it off! SO FAST! :woohoo:

Any thoughts on clarity and depth of shine?

Also, is there anything in particular to do or not do for red paint? I own a red Honda Accord and I'm always curious to know as well....

Nice job!!

The color of my i30 is similar, a little darker, but somewhat the same.....dark red, almost maroon metalflake.

Finish Kare 2180 makes the car POP like no tomorrow. After every panel I step back and take a look and its a nice deep dark red, very wet look.

Im going to guess that almost any sealant layered will help with depth and clarity.

My limited experience has me thinking sealants for my darker colored cars (for the wet, deep dark look) and carnubas for my light colored truck (I also layer carnuba on all vehicles for winter protection.....anything Collinite will do)

Again nice job.
