Hello All,

This is our first post in Detail City. In short, my friends and I own a detailing shop in Bangkok, Thailand and thought that it would be fun to share some of our pics with everyone else. Most of our exterior detailing jobs were done with Menzerna products and finished off with Pinnacle Souveran or Liquid Souveran for dark colors.

Cheers,
Moe

Welcome to DC!
The pictures look a lot like my wife's car in our garage. :brick

Well, maybe not.

Great pictures. Nice work. Looks like quite a place.

Greetings and :welcome to the DC ! Super nice looking shop you have there. The tile floor looks great.

How is the Detailing business your part of the world and do you have much competition ? Do your prices compare to prices here in states ?

I notice in other pictures of detail shops from oversea's they always have killer looking cars. How sweet would it be to detail Lambo's and Ferrari's all day.

You wouldent happan to be www.iamwashmania.com ?? That Gallardo looks great.

Quick question what shampoo are you useing on that Gallardo I would love to get suds like that.

Welcome to DetailCity enjoy your stay...........

Thank you to everyone for such a warm welcome. Glad to be here.

Hello Frozen,
No, we are not iamwashmania as you might have thought.
For the shampoo, we are using Meguiar's Carwash Shampoo. Normally, it doesn't give you much suds but we use pressurized thank, which helps a great deal. In my experience, no shampoo beats Meguiar's in terms of wax retention while providing sufficient cleaning ability at the same time. Other shops in the Bangkok area chose to switch to locally produced shampoo to keep the cost down. We also tried but with a great disappointment. Costs is one thing but, to us, nothing comes before quality services.

Hello Rollman,
Honestly, what we are prouded of the most is not detaling supercars. What get me and partners goosebumps is when we are able to turn around paint-beaten old cars into great looking ones. I will post some of these pics later on. In fact, I have a dark blue Alfa 156 coming in today for a paint rejuvenation. It is a brand new car with great wheels but full of swirl marks and polising hazes after the owner had it polished at another detailing shops.

In my experiend, paints of Japanese cars (at least those assembled in Thailand) are the most difficult to work on, especially Honda. For some reasons, their clear coat are extremely sensitive and can easily end up with serious amount of swirl marks.

How exactly do you pressure the Shampoo, I love how well that suds and covers up that Gallardo.
