First detail with PC!! WOW!

Okay guys,



I am good at hand detailing, and I thought that there was no way to make my awful subaru paint look good again so here is the answer to all of my problems:



Clean Wheels

Wash

Clay

Spot treatment with scratchX for light scratches

.....

PORTER CABLE!!!!!

SonusSFX1 pad - Light compound - some parts of the car may not need this - I did the hood, trunk, wing scoop, and roof

SonusSFX2 pad - MEguiar's ColorX Polish - Wipe off by hand after working it in thoroughly.

Sonus SFX 3 Pad - Meguiar's NXT wax - Wipe off by hand after working it in thoroughly.

My paint was BADLY Swirled and Surface Scratched from two harsh winters and Subaru terrible paint quality.

These are my results. There were no surface scratches after, the paint was warm and smooth (Literally felt newer than new), NO swirls whatsoever, and amazing clarity with no hazing at all. I have never seen anything like it. 3 days later it still looks and feels the same! The Jetta and G35 are the next two victims that I have and they are both pretty bad, but I have no doubt I will be able to fix them with this awesome machine.
 
Looks great! Now you see why the PC is so loved around here. One question though: Is your camera strap resting on your freshly polished car?? :nervous2:
 
LOL It might have been but it's a tiny crappy camera with a tiny itty bitty strap - If I was using my good digital camera the pics would be way better
