First detail on some else's car: Scion Tc

My fiance's friend wanted me to clean/detail her car. So being that I needed the practice I took on the job. This is her DD that had gone from Fl to Georgia twice and not been cleaned. Needless to say there were some bugs that were plastered on pretty good. Car was pretty dirty and had some minor swirls and scrathes.



Process:

Sprayed front and mirrors with PB Bug Squash 3:1

Wheels with P21S Gel and brushes

Tires and trim with Z16

Two bucket wash with NXT and schmitt

PC with Orange LC pad with XMT 3 to take off baked bugs (XMT 2 didn't do it)

XMT 2 with Orange pad for rest of car

Looks awesome for the first time out! Beautiful specimen!





Some constructive criticism if I may-- next time, dress the wheel wells as well.

I was thinking about that when I saw the pictures. With my car you can't see the wheel wells much at all. It didn't even come to mind. I appreciate the advice.
