first detail job

pretty excited
got my first detail job today. its a co-workers vehicle. he has a 2000 nissan 4x4 truck. gave him a decent price, because we work together and he is a good friend. charged him 100 bucks for interior vacuum, exterior wash a wax. i guess its a start. i am going to do it this friday and i will try to post pics after i'm done.
 
Congrats, on your first Job. If your friend is pleased and tells others, tell him Not Too Quote the price you charged him. Good Luck in the future. Looking forward to maybe some pics.
 
Wait...can we post pics of cars we did? I thought there was some rule change. If not I did a couple cars, including a Viper and a Jaguar XKR that I wanted to show.

The last I knew, you were only supposed to post pictures of your own vehicles in a thread.
But, you can post any picture, (that is in good taste:)), in the gallery.
That has always been true and has not changed.

hey guys, just letting everyone know that i showed up to detail my co-workers truck yesterday, and i can't believe how dirty it was, inside and outside. but i did it and i think it came out nice, he was pleased at how it looked. after i finished another co-worker asked if i could do his truck, he has a 2006 chevrolet pickup, but all he wanted was a vacuum and exterior wash. i charged him $50 bucks, but i went ahead and wiped his dash and put some spray wax when i was drying it and put some dressing on his wheels. he was also pleased and i ended up making $150 bucks for a couple of hours. both said that they wanted me to keep up their trucks and one of them said if i could do his girlfriends mustang. pretty good start for my business, i guess.
