@PoorboysWorld.com
Well I finished my first detail job this weekend. I first washed the car/rims with PB SS&S, and the rims with APC (1hr 30min) you can see why, then I clayed the whole car, Used PC with a LC Polishing Pad with SSR2.5, LC finishing pad with Poorboy's New PWS, And finished it off with a coat of Nattys Blue. I thought that it came out pretty good what are some of your thoughts?? Here are the pics. :yay

The before pictures show a very dirty car. If the swirls were as bad as they appear in those pictures, your end results are great.
That's a first detail to be proud of.:bigups :bigups :bigups

Did the SSR 2.5 leave a ready to wax finish or did the PwS actually finish the job? The few times I have used SSR 2.5, I felt it was ready for the LSP without following it with anything less abrasive.
While PwS may do some blemish removal, it seems it would be minimal with a finishing pad.
Anyway, Congratulations!

Wow, Steve must be paying you better than we thought :lol:

Honestly great job on the car...Keep up the good work

Thanks guys:) . I really appreciate the comments. And CharlesW after the 2.5 i thought that it needed a good polish i wouldent have put the nattys on at that time, but im not a pro at this. PWS did indeed finish the job (even with the finishing pad) it left the paint so smooth and slick I was shocked!! then just a coat of nattys and it was done. I was running out of time so i wasent able to put a coat of EX on it :(.

This is my favorite pic it is off of the hood of the car. I guess black can really look like it is a mirror and not black at all:cool:

You may not be a pro, but you do have some understanding of what is needed. If it didn't look like it was ready for your LSP, then it wasn't.

looks good, i think your camera is a little lacking though, is that the detailing mobile in the background (bronco) ?

I actually have a Nikon Coolpix L3 5.1 megapixels but the pictures that i took were in the 900-1000kb range and this forum only allows 490kb so i had to resize all of them and i think it really took away from the quality. Dont know how or why? Yup thats my bronco:) so glad steve gave it to me:yay :yay :yay

Great work man! Now go detail that Bronco! :o)

Thanks Bigs:) Yea......about the broncho**cough, cough**, the inside looks spick and span very fun to detail to becase everything in it is red. When I say everything is red I mean everything. So when you do a good job on it it's really bright..lol..but the outside is hard to detail because it has rust everywhere on the gray part and it dosent have a clear coat on it. I did the red part the best I could.:cool:And the tires are coverd in the mud because i did a little off roading in a mud pit.
