This is my first post as well as my first real attempt at a detail. Hope you enjoy!

My paint is in good condition, so no extreme cutting was needed. There are a few scratches which I don't know came from! I will tackle that later though..

I used:

ONR Wash 2 bucket

Spot claying on some parts of the car, Megs clay

OP via orange pad PC 6

Poli-seal via white pad PC 5

2 coats @ 2 hour interval OS via hand

APC / Eagle One Wheel&Tire Cleaner

Armorall Extreme Shine Tire Gel

It's a 2004 6MT model loaded except navi =(

I just layered OS a second time for added protection, and in hope for a little deeper look. I was very pleased with just one layer though, which with 2, is about the same in the pictures.

The paint was actually in good condition. Very minor swirling. OP tackled it very nicely. I used my dads form of conventional washing before I found this site, and you guys converted me! Spent a pretty penny so far.

I'll try to get some sun shots when I get some time.

Thanks for the kind words!

Looks good, that G is wicked. Black is one of those colors that look fantastic when properly maintained. Nice depth to the vehicle and the reflection is very nice.

Thanks for sharing.

a friend of mine has a g35 sedan, and his wheels get so filthy - ( HE never washes the fricken thing) so anyways his wheels get so nasty that even acid wont take this crap off. too much of a sharp angle in the wheels. but whatev. not my car.

That's what I love about the color of my car. It's Twilight Blue, not black =) night time it is very dark, black looking. In the sunlight it has an awesome flake in it, you can notice the blue-ness. However it is a compliment to me that it looks like it is black, I wanted black at first and still envy black G's, but this color has seriously grown on me. It's rare to boot!

Pads question - LC CCS - just orange for OP and white for PS, and foam hand applicator for OS

Here's a shot under the flash:
