The Mini has become very popular in my area. There are plenty of them. The "S" looks like a fun car. :xyxthumbs

@tom p : I live in Peterborough, but the palm came from Torquay about 7 years ago (as a 6" cutting!!)



@bigguy: I always do all the cleaning - there's no way it's going anywhere neer a carwash/jetwash.



I'm a big Meguiars fan.



This time the car had the following:



1 x Meguiars Paint Cleaner

1 x Meguiars Scratch-X

2 x Meguiars Polish

1 x P21S

... and Meguiars alloy and tyre treatment.

How do you find the Meguiars polish, is this the Step 2 polish?

If so, does this increase gloss and clarity?

great work gav, i'm very impressed, cool car too. how did you use the Scratch X? I am a big meguiars fan too, and only use their products.

@pk1 - yes this is the Step2 polish. It certainly helps with the wet look...



@luke667 - I actually gave the whole car a coat of Scratch-X (with a Megs applicator pad). I then went over the bonnet again, on some of the more obvious swirl marks.
