Firehose Nozzle....

I to own the craftsman fire hose Nozzle and it is excellent, a must have for me when I am washing my vehicles.

I use mine with a 3/4 inch hose, though I think it would have higher pressure with a 5/8 hose.

All Fire Hose Nozzle's are not created equal I bought 2 that I returned before I tried the Craftsman one, and it was cheaper also. Plenty of pressure and very tough.

:iagree:

I bought a Gilmour firehose nozzle with a pistol grip from HD or Lowe's and it was AWFUL. Then I bought another one made by Goodyear and it's great. I think this type of nozzle is more hit or miss than other types.

I've got 2 of the fire hose type nozzles from Home Depot at about $20 each. Even bought one for my mom who had one of the old cheap trigger sprayers. Made in USA and very tough. I've had mine for 5-6 years with no problems.

Would you recommend the aluminum or stainless steel model?

FWIW, I have the aluminum version of that (can be purchased at Northern Tool now). I have been very pleased with it. I have high water pressure, and it does fine for me for fender wells, etc. Have been using this one for about a year. Before that, I used the standard brass twist on/off.
