Finishing fragrance?

After detailing the interior do you use a scent of some sort or odor remover? If so what do you use?

I use the Leather oil scent from Griot's Garage. Wouldn't use it on a car that doesn't have leather seats, though.

I do like the scent of Wolfgang's interior detailer...

I have two one is a cherry sent and the other is natural look...the natural look is the one that everyone likes...sprayed in the AC vents and a small squirt under the two front seats

If a customer already has an interior fragrance of choice I don't. Many times customers have those little liquid bottles clipped to an air vent somewhere. I usually check the fluid level and if any is left I don't add anything. Those things work better after I'm done cleaning out the interior anyway plus the customer has silently indicated what they like to smell in the vehicle.

If no fragrance is already in place I use Ozium and customers usually comment positively after.

I usually ask the customer if they want an interior fragrance. Cherry, strawberry, Vanilla, New car scent and Pina Colada which I like quite a bit.

Auto Febreeze and a scented ornament leaf usually gets good results that lasts at least a month after i shampoo and clean any vehicle for bad odors i use a special new car scent in a tiny spray bottle i got from my old employer, still have a fair bit left and its strong as crap 2 sprays (front and back) and your car is fresh !

I've used everything from water based to oil based scents, little trees, wonder wafers, aroma disks, aerosol sprays. My fav would have to be the oil based scents. Superior products makes a good assortment of scents in 2oz, 4oz, 16oz, and gallon size bottles. They are expensive though. But the old saying, you get what you pay for.

Are people spraying leather scent in a car with cloth seats?
Why would I let the fabric stop me from enjoying a fragrance I like. I don't have any vehicles with cloth seats but if I did I would spray leather scent in them. I happen to like the smell of a saddle shop. Reminds me of when I was a kid. I also don't have an oven/stove or cook in my vehicle but I use vanilla scent because I like it. :D

Lot's of people don't have a pine tree growing in their car, but they have the Fresh Pine Tree Freshener.

Lot's of people don't have a new car, but they use New Car Scent.

What exactly are the names (or some of) the Superior Products? Thanks.

Well heres a link to their oil based scents i posted about.

- Superior Products

You can get to their homepage from there.

Stay away from the yellow rose, and love it.

I like all the fruity scents, they really smell like the real thing. And it only takes 1 maybe 2 sprays and it lasts for awile.

You can get a 2oz sampler of all their scents for like 75 bucks. Enough air freshner to last a pro quite a few months.

I use activated charcoal. The brand I use comes in a plastic case with a clip. It completely eliminates any musty, smoky, or foul odor.
