Finish Kare Autopia discount!

[quote name='Spilchy']

Heads up to Tort for his handling of the situation. He's receiving unecessary flak. As he said, he's simply removing the spam :rules: and keeping the product discussion / discount posts for all to benefit from :up

He is the one of the most objective mods... :xyxthumbs :xyxthumbs

Once a spammer, always a spammer, in my book. I WILL NOT do business with spammers. I think it's a shame that other Autopians support spammers.

What is your definition of a spammer? You might be surprised who could fall into that category.

maybe it was a different thread but the FK representative was responding to a question asked by a forum member-not spamming without "invitation". whether you agree with FK's opinion regarding their products answering an autopian's question is the best interest of the community. the best way to get the most accurate info is from a manufacterer of the product not some other poster who doen't have any real knowledge about what he's posting other than personal opinon. The lack of manufacturers who post here leaves a bit of a hole in a lot of thread's credibility. that isn't advocating an anything goes type of policy regarding manufacturers tho.

Wannafbody makes an excellent point! The current hard-line stance that vendors must be board sponsors in order to post has left a large vacuum. We're missing out on the information exchange between the manufacturers and their customers. As a result, the entire Autopia community has suffered.:sadwavey:

I'm also not advocating an "anything goes policy regarding manufacturers" either, but I think the reigns could be loosened a little and it would benefit the community as a whole.
