Never had one of these myself but a friend did and while they were really kinda slow, they were still near the top of the heap in the high school parking lot! Snowflake wheels with the polished lip...B)

That`s for sure...to us people driving our father`s hand-me-down cars in high school.
My high school hand-me-down ride, complete w a “3 on the tree”. Better than the bus though!

You`re making that up!

Nope, the AMC Pacer it was! Goofy, but oddly fun car; could turn off the ignition while driving, wait a minute, turn ignition back on and it would backfire loudly out of the tailpipe. Was great fun...right up until it blew the internals outta the muffler. "Gee, I dunno Dad...all of a sudden it just got really loud...I have no idea why". Hot as all an oven in the Summer with all of that glass and no A/C (no radio for that matter either...bare-bones car). Was my second hand-me-down American Motors classic, the first being an awesome 1973 Hornet Sportabout (hey, at least it had `Sport` in the name):

Has it been restored or original? It’s in great shape…

Maybe a bit of both, I think. Very low mileage... Probably been refreshed over the years here and there.

Would be fun to own something like this for sure...call me crazy but would rather have this on my list of "I won the Lotto" cars than some Italian `supercar`... I guess I just don`t get those things. Nice and all I suppose, just not for me.

Ha, I had a friend who had to share a Gremlin.

What is that, some sort of warning label on the visor? One of my hand-me-downs that I wound up keeping for a long, long time, out of sentimental value still had some sort of warning label on the driver visor when I junked it, I think it was something about not parking over leaves, hot exhaust, etc. Of course my TV still has the transparent brand label in the corner, so....

Gremlin = Cooler than a Pacer or Sportabout

Guess it is a "How to operate Seat Belt" instruction card
