Moved in mid-June and have added a few things already. I plan to do some flooring, paint the walls/ceiling, and add more lighting, but for now, I am happy to have the teg out of harms way and a nice place to work in :D.

Congratulations on the new digs. Now you can spend the wee hours of the night babying your car. :woot2:

How are you liking it so far? It looks like a cool place from what I can see in the pics.

Thank you :).

I will keep Autopia updated with its progress.

The new place is in East Haven, much better than the other **** hole (Avalon).

Yeah... because SL65 owners don't bother with nice houses

Are you saying that live in an apartment and it comes with a garage?

Congrats Sean.

I know I would never go back to "not having a garage". I just don't see it.

The first pic of the garage looked very small. Then the 2nd pic with the Teg in the garage it looks like you have plenty of room to work. I'm sure it will work great for ya. Good Luck!!

Oh ya i like it already now we do need to get some paint ont he wall and some more lights up there I can see where you should put some track lighting already...

Sean, if you don't mind me asking, what's the rent (if you don't want to make it public, at least shoot me a PM?)

I'm curious as to what an apartment with a garage goes for in this area. I'd do a lot of bad things for one.

Congrats Sean! The garage is the perfect size to move around the car. It'll be a nice shop for non-SUV's you detail just as long as your neighbors don't mind the noise.

I'm sure it'll look killer once finished.

Wow excellent, good idea with the blocks under your stuff too. What size is the garage too in ft/m whatever. It will be excellent for you to detail when its too hot or cold (does it get cold there?). Good job. You could check out garagejunkies.net for some good ideas.

John :buffing:

Congrat's dude. The Townhome I've been renting for 4 years has detached garage's (about like yours) and I didn't get one till I picked up my A4 last September. Night and day diference between working in the garage and outside.

Sometimes I'm out there at all night. I can wash my car in there too w/my PW.

BTW

Where did you get those halogens? I have mine on a tripod up front but have been looking for some lighting for the walls so I can see the sides of the car better when detailing.
