Well in preparation for a magazine shoot I've been detailing my car over the past week and now that the shoot is over, I've finally took some pictures on my personal camera to show how it came out.

The Process:

Wash with Dawn- Dried with

Clayed with Poorboys clay and Bead-X as lube

Polished with SSR2.5 on White pad on PC at 6

Polished with SSR1 on White pad on PC at 6

Clearkote Vanilla Moose Wax on Blue glazing pad on PC at 4

2 Coats of Hand Applied EX-P

2 Coats of Hand Applied Natty's Blue

I'd figure I'd share as I'm ESTATIC with the results, never have I seen such a wet and reflective white car...especially for factory 10 year old paint.

Anyway to the pictures. Also, comments are very much appreciated.

Just my favorite shot, super reflective.

Showing the reflectivity of color...you can actually see color reflections in white.

And to show how wet the car is.

very classy color on that cobra. doesnt seem like i run into enough white ones that are autopian approved. great job!!

Thank you guys for all the comments, PLEASE keep them coming, I love to see what you all think.

Also, for those of you who have interest in Mustangs or own Mustangs, feel free to IM me on AIM anytime at Timdog9021. And I'll be sure to update when I know what month the car is going to be in the magazine.

I found the same thing, I have a white suv (Mountaineer) with 2 coats of EXP and 2 coats of Nattys Blue, never seen white give a deep wet look like my suv does (till your Cobra lol). Even had a couple guys at the office, one with a black Porsche who asked what I used.

Great job - especially for white.

(I have a frost white Rendezvous - squeaky clean sheen with some pop, but not quite as fluid . Light colors are tough)

Very nice car eShine...your NXGHOST from SVTPerformance, no? I'm the original Ghost on most of the boards.

What size shot ya running on yours, I remember something like a 75 from SVTP, no? I have an custom built NX kit in mine that I run a 200 shot out of. If you ever want or need any help, feel free to IM me on AIM or e-mail me at [email protected]. I've been through about everything with these cars, so if ya need help feel free to ask.

I'm almost positive thats Scott's 01...but ya never know.

Also thank you all for the comments, they're greatly appreciated and I'd love to get more opinions.
