Finally bit the bullet

After looking at mb c300, bmw 328 and 135, audi a4, mitsu evo, I finally got a new car. 2009 Infiniti g37x. Funny because I tried to buy one when I got the A3 and couldn't reach a deal. This time I dealt with the son of the last salesman I dealt with, and reached a deal at the last minute. They wanted to sell before the end of November for bonuses from Infiniti. They had a $4000 cash rebate on the car, and only 12 km. It is lakeshore slate, sort of between blue and dark gray, with a tan leather interior. It took them refusing 2 offers from me and me refusing 3 from them before they accepted my final offer. Nothing stressful about that!! Now I just have to get the weather to put a coat of wax on it.
 
Hi Accumulator, sorry I moved away from the Audi family, loved the ride and interior of the A4 with Audi drive select, but the dealer wouldn't do much of a deal. I traded the Audi, the refusals on my part, and theirs were about the value of the trade in, but I guess they wanted to sell a car. Now I'm scared of the 328 horses. My car prior to the A3 was a Maxima and this is an upgrade of the same engine.
 
Grats. Audi was at the top of my list when I bought my new car but had a similar experience. Couldn't even get a salesman to call me back so I ended up with a Lexus.
 
Hey, having a dealer you can work with can make all the difference!



One of the *BIG* reasons why I drive Audis is my dealer so if it works the other way I sure understand that.
 
Got a chance this afternoon to put a coat of blackfire paint protection on the car. Very easy to use even at 6 celsius.

Congrats on the purchase. I've only test driven a G37 coupe, but it was a fun, slick looking car. Plus, Infiniti has some really good deals going too.

Nice car! And, I suspect that all the auto companies have end of month, end of year bonuses riding on volume. Their numbers are better but still suck.



What is amazing about Infiniti (and G27's) are the lack of bright color choices...........when I looked at their website, it seemed they had 6 shades of silver/gray/slate to choose from. Where are the brighter colors these days??!!
