Fillers for the First time...

Just got my order of AB in. What a great product. Leaves a very slick and glossy feel to the paint, and it noticeably hides minor swirls. Thanks to all that recommended it..
 
A quick plug for the Rubbish Boy's site as a supplier for the BH Auto Balm.

I ordered a couple of jars about a week ago and I'm amazed it arrived this morning, about a week later.

They're in Devon, England, I'm on the very west coast of Canada. Only whales and salmon are more west than me. The package arrived quicker from England than from a few sites in eastern Canada and the US.

I ordered from them also, took about a 5 or so business days. And they even hand wrote me some instructions on how to get good results.

I know Mothers' says apply by the 3-step by hand. Can you use a DA with it?
 
I have had Auto Balm on my truck for 2 months now and it always looks clean and resists dirt and water spots really well.
 
I am just totally getting tired of black... today's troubles include water spots, and additional swirls.



I can't wait to give this stuff a try. Its top on my list after I purchase DWG and Danase Water Spot Remover. I had to push those to the top of the list because of "impending doom."



Guys who have used this stuff... feel free to post some pictures.



Is rubbish boys the only place to order it?

termigator, basically every product can be used with a DA, which can be used by hand. I always apply paint cleaners with a DA. (Will was quicker with the Mothers answer...)

Bilt Hamber has a website that sells their products but it wasn't set up to ship to all countries. European countries were well represented for easy shipping. As a Canadian, I have to wait for a shipping quote. No PayPal option.



The Rubbish Boys site had all the details included so there was no wait time. If you're comfortable with shipping, it happens immediately and they use many methods of payment, including PayPal.

At one time they had the *VERY* nice Smart Clay, the stuff you can't get in the US due to patent issues. Last time I checked they were out of it, but you might ask 'em.
 
A little FYI -

I went to the Bilt Hamber site and checked some of their products. I tentatively ordered a gallon of their Autofoam and a gallon of their Surfex. That's 2 gallons of product.

2 days later, I get an email outlining shipping costs. The cheapest method of the 4 quotes was 81 pounds - that's $143 CAN or $115 USD.

The most expensive method was 110 pounds.

Ouch, ouch, and double ouch. No autofoam, no surfex for me.

All 4 quotes were with Royal Mail Bence.

I think the weather will be good enough tomorrow for me to give the Auto Balm a try. I'm getting antsy.

The temp should be around 5 - 7 celsius and dry. Have you applied AB in the same or cooler temps?
