Fiber-Works Microfiber Towel Review

From what I remember (which gets less and less with time) DFTowel once stated that â€Ëœsoftnessâ€â„¢ could be chemically induced in a fibre. So Iâ€â„¢m guessing by diluting the chemical (washing) they revert to there natural state

I have washed them already, yes. They felt a touch better after I washed them. I think it was purely do to they were scrunched together when shipped and I "fluffed" dry them. The are quite impressive thus far.

I could use some good microfiber towels. I just ordered the Junior kit from Fiber-Works and I received confirmation that it was shipped out today. It should be here in a couple of days, so when I receive the kit I'll let you all know how it is. I noticed a couple of you saying its similar to some other companies... I'll see if I can pick up some from the other companies as well and do a full comparison to let you know what I think.

GSRstilez: what did you use to wash the Fiber-Works towels? Mine should be arriving tomorrow or the day after and I want to wash them before I use them. Is it best to use plain water or some kind of detergent?

I use a regular detergent and hot water. Turn on the "Extra Rinse" feature. I also add 2-4 oz of Distilled White Vinegar and 2-4 oz of APC.

Fiber-Works, a liitle price don't ya think? I got my towels through WCD and they have been great and a much better price if you buy in quantity.

AutoNova: No more expensive then say pakshak. I have tried pakshak in the past and am trying fiber-works out for the first time. From the pictures, products look comparable, prices are cheaper, and shipping came out cheaper for me as well. I should have my package today or tomorrow latest. Then I will review how they work out.

IMO the WalMart detailer series Microtex towells are thick and soft- for about $1.25 each even if you only use them on paint 2 or 3 times they are worth it

I've just ordered 5 of the ultra plushes from the UK and total was £18 which is darned cheap for towels which appear to be this soft & plush - we'll see how fast they arrive!

I just received my towels today from Fiber-Works. I put them in the wash a little while ago and I will post again later how they are.

Well I just took my Fiber-Works towels out of the wash and fully inspected them. They are very high quality products. I have compared them to my Pakshak towels, and they are of the same quality - if not higher. The Extra Plush towel is extremely soft... very similar to the ultra plush of pakshak. I have to say I am very impressed with all of the items in this kit. Next time I order, I will have to try some other products of their's that were not included in the kit I purchased. I did test the towels on my hood with some Meg's NXT wax followed by some S100 Carnauba and they work PERFECT. I would highly recommend their products. I have yet to try out some of their other products, but when I do -- I will be sure to let you know how it goes. Again - I only purchase the Junior kit for my first purchase.

Just wanted to let you know ... Fiber-Works seems to be offering free shipping over $50. I wish I had known before and I would have ordered more. Hopefully it will still be offered next time I place an order :D.

I just ordered a variety of MF towels from PakShak. I also finally found Vroom MF towels at my local Target. I have never had issues with the texture of towels before,so these should allow me to make some observations about these and the Costco MF of which I have many. I should have went to Fiber-works for the free shipping... PakShak didnt offer any break on shipping on$100.00 Purchase!

I think you will find the Pakshak's MF's to be much superior to most MF's on the market. His quality and service will far out wieght the nominal shipping charges. Hopefully you requested the "autopian discount".

I doubt you'll find better MF's than PakShak!

I think that pakshak has excelent products but i was very impressed with the fiber-works. Im going to e-mail fiber-works and see if we could get somekind of autopia discount.

What should i ask for 10%?

There are other MF companies out their that use the same manufacturer as PakShak...as in, yes, the same exact towels (maybe different size/color).
