Answering your question, I recently applied a coat of NXT on top of UPP on my black Volvo. I applied the UPP two weeks ago and the car was pretty nice (No pics sorry), and last Friday I applied a coat of NXT but I finished at 8:00 PM son I couldnt see so well, but I think the color was deeper and darker but a little bit less shine, and after that the next morning rain and the next day rain and the next day rain and so on, if fact the weather for you and Scott are almost the same as here. So I havent had time to wash the car and see the results on a sunny day, but maybe this weekend I can take some pics of the results before applying another coat of UPP.
My whole process is going to Be UPP-NXT-UPP-NXT with pics between processes, I will let you know my findings
