Do you think that the claying instilled much marring? The reason I ask (and I sure hope this isn't coming across wrong, I DO NOT intend it as criticism in any way) is that some of the lighter marring looked like what I sometimes get after an aggressive (by my sandards) claying  Just wondering...
200 ETG readings?!? That's being nice and thorough all right!
Whose metal polish did you use on the muffler? Machine or by hand? That was a striking transformation on it...heh heh, it's so impressive that I hope you didn't make it "too nice" for concours purposes.
Nice to see that car gets some exercise, and I like it a whole lot better than the more common colors for those rides.
Accumulator - Thank you!
It may have in some areas, however a lot of that surface marring was present when I picked the vehicle up. The owner was aware of his wash standards being the cause of the marring. I have had aggressive clay leave its own damage, however sometimes that is the cost of it being effective. No offense or anything taken!
Yes sir, it's taking quite a bit of time to compose the picture diagram of the readings haha!
The process on the muffler is as follows: P21S polishing soap, Optimum metal polish and Chemical guys metal wax! Used on a powerball with the metal wax, steel wool and the p21s sponge for the polishing soap and foam pad/pc with the Optimum.
The car definitely gets her legs stretched, and this color combo is so much better in person! Thanks!
